This dog blanket arrived fast. As soon as I opened up the package it was like my dog knew it was for him. I spread it on the floor (soft side up) and he immediately laid down on it. It is a cute square size approximately (28" by 28"). On one side there is a soft, microfiber type cover and the other side has a soft but textured surface. There is a bit of thickness to the blanket which must be the material inside that makes it waterproof. My dog is almost 15 years old and I purchased the blanket to layer on top of his dog bed, so he had a soft, waterproof pad to lay on during the night. He loves the microfiber cover. My dog also has developed anxiety as he has gotten older and the blanket is a mini- weighted blanket for him. He calms down when I cover him with the blanket. I have had it now for about 5 months and wash it once a week or whenever it gets messy and it has held up well. This has been a great purchase - I would get it again.

Allisandro Waterproof Dog Blanket is very soft, plushie and actually pretty comfortable. Comfy enough for a human. But of course its just a thin square blankie meant for dogs ( and cats too) to avoid leaving pet hairs on couch, give them comfort, etc. The underside has tiny "Pimple-like" bumps for its non-slip design feature. Easy to wash and dry or simply brush clean. Excellent price for such a large square soft comfy blanket!

This does it's job and is holding up pretty well considering I wash it at least once or twice a week. It's minimized the amount of towels and blankets that I used prior to having this, so that's a plus!

Great little dog bed. I just wanted to have something to help protect my floor/carpet. Definitely works well for that. I can see how if you were using it as a furniture cover/protector it might move around. It only has little grippers and doesn't actually fasten or secure in any other way, so it could still easily flip up or move around when your dog jumps up on it. I wanted to test the waterproof claim a bit, so I did two quick little tests. I can confirm that after both, the underneath side was still completely dry. Works great for me and my dogs.

I wanted to try this for an old recliner in my den that our dogs have claimed as their own. It's leather so their claws have made marks on it over the years. This product fit on the seat of the recliner well, it was almost too big, so I had to tuck it in down under the back and the arm rests. That's fine since it helps keep it more secure and it doesn't slide around. We have three small dogs and they all seem to enjoy the feel of it. It's very well made and I can tell it will last for a long time. I haven't had to wash it yet, so I'm not sure how it will hold up. Just judging by the feel and look of it, I don't think washing will be an issue.
